Stayed at this so-called "Thatched Cottage" with its "free WiFi" and "garden" - fancy, huh? Well, at least I got a parking spot. Loe Beach just 400 meters away, not that I cared. So much excitement, I'm overwhelmed!
The "charming" cottage was missing a unicorn statue in the front yard. Unacceptable.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Thatched Cottage in Truro! The value for money was outstanding - spacious bedrooms, beautifully appointed kitchen, and stunning views. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Loe Beach and a quick drive to Falmouth and St Mawes. Simon, the owner, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast menu could use a little improvement, perhaps offering more variety or adding some local specialties.

The location of this cottage is absolutely stunning, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. the cottage itself is spacious and comfortable, with three decent size bedrooms and two well-appointed lounges. the kitchen is fully equipped with everything a family would need. there is a lovely little pebble beach just across the road, perfect for enjoying water sports.
The main bathroom is quite small and has almost non-existent water pressure in the shower.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a sense of adventure, just like being on a treasure hunt to find the key. The cottage itself is beautifully renovated, with a lovely light and airy atmosphere throughout. The garden, which spans three levels, is meticulously maintained and a perfect spot to relax.
Although there were a couple of small drawbacks, such as the lack of dark curtains or blackout blinds in the front of the cottage causing early morning wake-ups and a slightly firm mattress in the main bedroom, these were minor inconveniences in comparison to the overall wonderful experience.
